OSHA mandates a respirator protection program. Any company that allows their employees to wear a respirator is required to have a written program for compliance. This includes both voluntary wearing and mandatory wearing.
This webinar will provide a good understanding of this regulation - 29 CFR 1910.134 - that is somewhat complicated. You will learn how you can implement an effective respirator protection program that will protect your employees from hazards of breathing toxicants of various kinds. It also is designed to give your employees the knowledge that you are considerate of their health both now and in the future. We will also discuss how you can avoid corporate and personal liability issues by ensuring compliance.

As a Certified Safety Professional (CSP) with an MBA in HR Management and a Six Sigma Green Belt, I leverage data-driven strategies to build safer, more engaged workforces.
I’ve served in leadership roles with the American Society of Safety Professionals (ASSP) as Area Director for Mississippi and Alabama and currently serve as an Officer for the Mississippi Chapter. Additionally, I was honored to serve as Director at Large on OSHA’s VPPPA Region IV Board.
